Katia Winter was born in 1983 in Stockholm, Sweden. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Swedish. She moved abroad at an early age and lived several years in England, Italy and the U.S. She pursued a career in acting after studying film, screen acting and editing in London and Stockholm. Katia has gone on to star in a range of television and independent film roles including the British drama Unmade Beds (2009), directed by award-winning Alexis Dos Santos. Katia also played the lead in the psychological drama Anaphylaxis (2009), directed by Ayman Mokhtar.
