Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Kasey Mahaffy discovered his inherent destiny the moment he stepped onstage as "Monkey #3" in a riveting production of Dr. Dolittle. After achieving his BFA in Acting, he moved to New York City to perform there and at various regional theatres across the US. After achieving his BFA in Acting, he moved to New York City to perform there and at various regional theatres across the US. In 2006 Kasey relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film & television, and has worked directly with some of his lifelong inspirations (Al Pacino, James Burrows, Jennifer Coolidge, Steven Soderbergh, to name a few). A practicing Buddhist and avid canyon-hiker, Kasey loves his life in Los Angeles and can often be found performing at South Coast Rep and drinking cheap beer in dimly-lit dives.
