Patrick Moug's documentary Bold As A Lion is about the unsolved homicide of Jennifer Morgan. Patrick Moug's documentary Bold As A Lion is about the unsolved homicide of Jennifer Morgan. Patrick also wrote and directed The Ugly One (2003) which features Wes Studi (Last of the Mohicans, Geronimo-The Legend, Heat, etc.). In addition to his work behind the camera, Patrick portrayed the lead in The Ugly One. Having been a college football player (University of Connecticut) and a SWAT officer for his police department, Patick performed all of his stunts (coordinated by Eric Bryson - nominated World Stunt Awards for Shanghai Noon) which included fighting, dropping 20 feet and being set on fire. While being involved in drama at UConn, Patrick didn't actively pursue a career in the arts until 1997 when he began studying acting, writing and directing at Jeff Daniels' Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan. In adddition to The Ugly One, Patrick wrote and produced Captain Beefalo a play for the stage. He has also written Fifty Niners (stage play), Michigan Autumn (screenplay) and is currently writing Max of Livermore (the story of heavyweight champion Max Baer).
