Biography:
Rahi was born Charles Chun in New York City to parents of Korean heritage who met on a blind date whilst studying in Chicago. Raised bi-culturally in Salt Lake City, Utah, Seoul, Korea and Southern California, Rahi came to understand that cultural values and personality are not who we are, but the costumes through which we express our life's energy. Rahi was born Charles Chun in New York City to parents of Korean heritage who met on a blind date whilst studying in Chicago. Raised bi-culturally in Salt Lake City, Utah, Seoul, Korea and Southern California, Rahi came to understand that cultural values and personality are not who we are, but the costumes through which we express our life's energy. Communication and expression, both verbal and non-verbal, were explored during his formative years through dance, drama, poetry and travel. The art of living a fully expressed life via the creative and spiritual arts has engaged him in a variety of mediums of meditation and expression.As an actor in film and tv, with over 100 episodes of television and film to his credit, Rahi has enjoyed recurring and guest starring roles on Scrubs, as Dr. Wen, the attending surgeon, for 5 seasons, Crash, Lie To Me, Bones, ER, the finale of Everybody Loves Raymond, and feature films including Next with Nicolas Cage, The Brothers Solomon with Will Arnett, and MI:3 with Tom Cruise.Concurrently, Rahi has been drawn to exploring life's possibilities whilst traveling and exploring spiritual centers around the world. Some of these experiences have included living and practicing Zen meditation in Japan, Vipassana meditation at Wat Ram Peung, Thailand, completing the Advanced Therapy Training at the Osho Meditation Resort in Pune, India, healing with John of God in Abadiania, Brazil, becoming certified in Family Constellation Therapy with Bert Hellinger in Austria, and engaging in treks through the mountains of Tibet, the Annapurna in Nepal and the Golden Triangle along the Thai and Burmese borders. Rahi also received an MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.More recently, merging his life paths of entertainment and the transformation of consciousness, Rahi has focused his attention to his life purpose of creating and producing transformational entertainment, content which inspires the heart. His company, The Authentic Heart, develops and produces television series and feature films which reveal the internal experience of the hero's journey. He also serves as a consultant and life coach to creative executives.
