Jake was born in Clovis, California on Sept 8, 1986. He spent his younger years in Portland Oregon in which he still fondly refers to as "home" He visited Los Angeles for what was intended to be a brief stay for "pilot season" Jake took meetings with his manager, and upon doing so he booked the role of Josh in The Story of Us (1999), starring Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer. Jake was born in Clovis, California on Sept 8, 1986. He spent his younger years in Portland Oregon in which he still fondly refers to as "home" He visited Los Angeles for what was intended to be a brief stay for "pilot season" Jake took meetings with his manager, and upon doing so he booked the role of Josh in The Story of Us (1999), starring Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer. Commericals and guest starring roles followed and the decision was made to move to be near the work. Jake went on to to book 4 pilots in four years. Two of which went to series "Cracking Up" with Molly Shannon and Chris McDonald and created by Mike White and "20 Good Years" with John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor created by Marsh McCall. He was also thrilled to be cast in "Finishing the Game" by Justin Lin, and visit Sundance in 2007 for the movies World Premiere. In addition to acting Jake is writing and shopping his first screenplay and working on various independent projects.
