Dorothy was in quite a few 20 min Vitaphone shorts and in quite a few full featured films with bigger stars such as Dick Powell and Irene Dunne. Most of her films are shown frequently on Turner Classic Movies. Dorothy Dare singing "Red Headed and Blue" in "Private Lessons" steals the movie. Feisty and delight...she puts the song over like a red head would. Some have said Dorothy didn't get a chance in Hollywood.
