Lubomir Yonchev was born in Pleven, Bulgaria. Since his early years he has been interested in art and started his acting career in the theatre in his native city. In 2002 he applied to the New Bulgarian University to study acting and directing and he started with small roles in plays and music videos. His film career has begun in 2006. Since 2007 he has been a member of Union of Bulgarian Actors (UBA) and The International Federation of Actors (FIA).
