David "Dino" Wells Jr, also known as Dino Wells, is an Afro-American actor, who appeared in Prison Break TV series, and a production assistant.He started is acting career at the age of 22 years old, but did not take his career seriously until 2004, when he landed on the movie Glory Road as John Anderson and worked as an additional production assistant. Dino's first TV time came by way of Mama Flora's Family where he was casted as Willie's friend (Willie played by Blair Underwood). Then he moved on to Scream 2 as a college student.Born in Chicago, Illinois his mother is Gwen Anderson and father David Wells Sr.. David Sr. served in the United States Marine and fought in Vietnam while his mother is a high school and college graduate.He started writing short stories an early age, then later went on to pursue a rap career that soon became defunct. During this time dealing with tribulations in his life, he decided to pursue a boxing career from 19 teenager until 2001, he chalked up 118 wins & 13 losses. Within that span, he dealt with more tribulations with the streets, a daughter and struggles to get on top of his game. Soon after being injured from the street activities, pride bruised and morale battered, still in his early 20s; he decided to take control of his life by escaping the grueling south side streets.He moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his auntie, to get his life back on track from the trials and tribulations that he'd encountered. He met his son's mother shortly after moving to Georgia. He took a few years off to refine his mind by taking a few actors workshops and training courses, write scripts & pursue and start his amateur football career of twelve years at running back playing for the Dupage Eagles, Atlanta Colts, Georgia Rage & New Orleans Gladiators.When his lack of focus by letting negative energy pull him into the muck, his desires were over barred by the negative vibes from the people in his circle, in which he gave up both his boxing and football career completely. The break up with his son's mother was heartbreaking & wounded his already scarred heart. He began working Loss prevention at T.J. Maxx. There he did good, stayed focused but was still missing something. He decided to get back into the acting world where he landed a feature role on CBSs Mama Floras Family, and then on to Kevin Williamsons Scream 2 directed by Wes Craven.Dino moved to New Orleans in 2001 after a promotion with T.J. Maxx. Still determined to make something out of his life; in 2004 he formed K.I.G (Keepin it Gutta records) consisted of himself, Rahqmon Da Don, Petey & Lord E of 420 ballaz. He lost his job at T.J. due to company violations, dating an employee who later turns out to be his third child's mother. He did odd and end work here and there trying to maintain, focus on his label. Focusing more on his label and accused of neglecting his relationship duties along with unnecessary drama with his latest child mother, he disbanded K.I.G, landed a featured role on Disney's Glory Road as John Anderson and a few other feature films, breaking into the behind the scenes as a production assistant on several other films then moved back home to Chicago after a almost life ending break up.With his experience mounting, paying his dues from the hard work earned. He nails a stellar job on FOX's hit television series Prison Break as Turner/Trumpets thug, Stand-in & production Assistant, working the entire season one. Dino continue to work hard through all of the continuing adversity that a person can endure during the road to the top.He is driven by the desire to fill what voids he has in his life and be an inspiration to the upcoming generation of aspiring artist that feel that they can't make it. He's determined to have his visions seen and his voice heard. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 2007 to Long Beach with a friend for a month and then onto skid-row, where he is pursuing his highest dreams. He's building a new circle of positive associates and building his legacy to inspire others to get up and just do it.
