Albena Dodeva holds a MFA from the National Academy of Film and Theatre Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since moving to the United States in 1990, she has worked extensively on stage, and as a film and commercial actress, in Chicago. Dodeva won a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actress in Apple Tree's production of Beast On The Moon. Fluent in four languages, she is a long distance runner and just completed her first marathon. Dodeva lives in Los Angeles with her husband and eight-year-old daughter.
