Matt Socia was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. After graduating from Bay City All Saints he moved to Chicago where he studied and pursued acting. From his many roles in independent films, theatre, and commercials Matt felt very fortunate to be able to make a living off his craft. Matt Socia was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. After graduating from Bay City All Saints he moved to Chicago where he studied and pursued acting. From his many roles in independent films, theatre, and commercials Matt felt very fortunate to be able to make a living off his craft. While in Chicago he met his friend and business partner Mike Leonardo. Together they started Planet Sole Productions and have written many feature films, childrens shows, and industrial videos. They are most proud of the feature film "....and the pursuit of happiness" which will be produced in the summer of 1999 under the direction of Mark Archer. Marks credits include the highly controversial and critically acclaimed movie "In The Company of Men" for which Mark produced.
