Born in New York City, raised in Florida and Canada, Denis has been writing, producing and performing in television for over fifteen years. Born in New York City, raised in Florida and Canada, Denis has been writing, producing and performing in television for over fifteen years. He worked for years for CityTv and Chum Television on a show called "media television," which at the time (1993) was one of the first shows to take a serious, ongoing look at advertising, marketing and the emerging digital culture. After helping to start Canada's sci-fi Channel, Space: The Imagination Station, and writing and creating many of the station's signature features, Denis attended the Canadian Film Centre's Television Writing program. He currently splits his time between writing and story editing documentary programs, and drama/comedy/animation. He teaches part time at Toronto's Ryerson University, and has written and produced several plays, including "Top Gun! The Musical" and "Sleepless." As of this writing, he has scripted television shows in development with three Canadian networks. A dual citizen (Canada/USA) He currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
