The class stages a mock reunion when Charlie expresses displeasure for his own high school reunion.

Dennis interviews Charlie for a school paper article.
4Love at First Byte
Charlie receives love letters in his school mailbox. He suspects one of the girls in the IHP, but, in the end, the joke's on him.
5The Outsider
Janice is feeling like an outcast in the IHP so she decides to throw a party for the class. After a disastrous start, she learns a lesson in friendship.
6Teacher's Teacher
The teacher, whom Moore has been filling in for, comes back but says he won't takeover until next week. So Moore decides to make the best of his final week. But the man keeps on popping in while Moore is trying to conduct a class.
7Volleyball, Anyone?
Mr. Moore feeling that the students to be more active, gets them to play volleyball. Later Dennis challenges some people to a game knowing that they don't stand a chance.
8Critical Choices
Moore is putting on his own version of Hamlet. He lets the class be the first ones to see it. He then asks them to write their critique of it. At class when he sees them; most of the class pan it.
9Cold Turkey
Charlie spends Thanksgiving with Dr. Samuels.
10You've Got a Friend
Arvid Engen does a project with Sarah Nevins and there are feelings developing between them.
11As Time Goes By
Samuels informs Moore that someone from the School board will be coming to observe the IHP he knows it's a woman and he wants Charlie to charm her. Charlie says no. But when he meets her, it's someone he knows, very well. It's not long that they're together but not long after that their old issues which led to their break up come up again.
12The Way We Weren't
The class enters an essay contest about the history of NYC, but Mr. Moore thinks they should write about what lead them to NYC for an extra assignment and some suprising family history is unveiled.
13Rebel Without a Class
Eric takes delight in tormenting another teacher. The man is so frustrated that he turns to Charlie for help.
14Ode to Simone
Moore tells the students to write a letter to the person who inspired them. And when they get their reply, he has them read the replies in class. Simone wrote to a poet and even included one of her poems. The man died but not after sending his response wherein he says her poem is awful. Upon receiving the letter, she rethinks her desire to be a poet. She, Moore and Eric attend a memorial for the man. And when Moore speaks he mentions that while he liked his poetry, he might not have liked him. And that's when everyone there starts expressing their dislike for him. Eric talks about how he panned Simone's poem. And that's when someone says that he didn't like anyone's poetry. So they ask her to read her poem and they like it. Samuels tells Dennis to knock off his crazy antics.
15Past Imperfect
Mr. Moore learns the students are taking short cuts like reading abridged versions of books or listening to tapes instead of reading the actual book. He says it's like cheating. He also mentions that he's taking an extremely difficult economics class because he needs it to be an accredited teacher. And when the class tries to prep him by asking him some questions, he's unable to answer so they say he might fail and lose his job. They try to prep him but it's so intense he can't remember what they taught him so they provide him with a cheat sheet. Making him having to decide if he's willing compromise his principles.
16A Problem Like Maria
When a rival school's team captain asks Maria out, the rest of the IHC students think that it's a tactic to beat them.
17The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming!
The IHP has an academic competition against some Russians and Samuels looks at them as the enemy while Moore encourages them to see this as an opportunity to make friends. When Jawaharlal gets sick, they hope Eric will fill in but because he doesn't want to be associated with them they send Simone to "talk" to him. He agrees but when Jawaharlal gets better he is not needed until the competition begins.
18Valentine's Day
It's Valentine's Day, Moore tries to teach his class but all sorts of things arise. Alan and Arvid bicker over a girl. Eric pursues Simone. Darlene and Sarah fight when Sarah decides to bail on plans they have when she meets a guy. And Bernadette thinks Samuels is coming on to her, and Samuels thinking she's hitting on him.
19Video Activity
When they're asked to contribute something for the 80s time capsule the school is burying, the students secretly come up with something special - their own music video for the song "The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades" by Timbuk3.
20Privilege
After Charlie sets up Arvid at one of the city's top night clubs, he soon becomes very full of himself due to the new lush lifestyle he has gotten used to.
21Crimes of the Heart
When Sarah's grades go down, Moore is worried. He talks to her and tells him that her father is not home because his job takes him away for long periods. But when he talks to her father he learns that what she told him about his father is not true. So after talking to her father he thinks he knows what's going on and devices a way for Sarah to open up.

Arvid daydreams about Lori, and it affects his schoolwork.
1Science Fair-Weather Friends
The school is having a science fair and Arvid, Dennis and Sarah all plan to enter. But they all inadvertently sabotage each other's project and try to cover it up. And Moore learns about this and tries to get them to admit the truth but can't.
2The Write Stuff
The Schools Newspaper is in need of work, so the class nominates Simone to be the Editor-in-chief which quickly goes to her head. Meanwhile Eric fabricates a story which quickly over shadows Simone, much to her dislike.
3The Big Squeeze
When the class learns that a boy genius is considering coming to Fillmore, they fear that one of them might have to leave the IHP. So they each point the finger at whom they think should go.
4Child of the 60's
After a class in rebelliousness of the 60's Dennis holds a sit in to demand better cafeteria food.
5Trouble in Perfectville
Moore's class decides to create a fake issue of the school newspaper.
6Coach Charlie
When Dr. Samuels is suspended, Charlie agrees to take over as coach of an IHP academic team that doesn't believe they can win.
7That'll Be the Day
The IHP students participate in a Fillmore school-wide production of "Grease" headed by Charlie.
8Poltergeist III
A series of disturbances occur in the classroom. Janice claims they are the result of a poltergeist but instructor Charlie Moore is doubtful and is determined to get to the bottom of the problem.
9Psyched Out at Fillmore
When the students undergo psychological testing they each discover they have undesirable traits. When their teacher Mr. Moore tells them there is nothing wrong with them they convince him to take the same tests.
10Revenge of the Liberal
A chance to appear on a conservative talk show is open to all the students. But when Dennis is chosen it's afraid he will act the clown and embarrass the school. Mr. Moore is urged to intervene.
11Play It Again, Woody
Mr. Moore and Arvid both attend a Woody Allen film festival to deal with their romantic woes. And it seems that what happened parallels to one of Woody's films.
12Will the Real Arvid Engen Please Stand Up?
Arvid's pen pal Nancy of six years is coming to visit and he should be excited. But he sent her Eric's photo so he get the entire class to go along wih the deception. When she falls for Eric and his charms Arvid regrets the subterfuge.

Separated Dr. Samuels moves in with Charlie.

Eric gets the impression that Maria has a crush on him.
15Cello Fever
Janice decides to challenge Kristina for 1st cello but breaks a string during a crucial. Despite the rules Janice feel mistreated, carrying her animosity to even having orchestra director Mr. Kimball's job threatened. Mr. Moore tries to get her to see her way is misguided.
16Parent's Day
It's Parent's Day when the parents of the students come and see how their children are taught. Eric's father shows on the wrong day and Eric doesn't appear to be proud of him. He later shows up on the right day and Moore tries to get Eric and his father to talk.
17Love Is Debatable
The class finds Alan despondent. He's been dumped by his girlfriend and unable to think straight. Darlene tells Alan something unexpected. The debate comes down to Alan's performance.
18For Better, for Worse
When an instructor in a marriage class gives what Mr. Moore feels is simplistic answers, he walks out. It's discovered he is still bitter about his divorce.
19We Love You, Mrs. Russell
The students and Mr. Moore discover that a beloved English teacher has Alzheimer's.

The IHP class tries computer dating. Meanwhile, Charlie battles Dr. Samuels for a coffee maker.

The gang goes to Moscow (for real). Arvid and Dennis find two girls who don't know the word nerd. Alan confronts his Soviet counterpart. Eric and Simone have a fight. Simone visits dead poets' graves and Eric meets his Russian family.
4Mission to Moscow: Part 2
Several members are missing as the competition approaches. Arvid misses the train after a date with the Russian girls. Dennis gets picked up by the cops. After his emotional family reunion, Eric joins the competition.
5Let's Rap
The IHP students have been made peer counselors. Mr. Moore tries to caution them about thinking they can solve all problems. And when Darlene encounters an unruly student named T.J. she tries to help her but T.J. doesn't want to meet her half way.

When Arvid's father becomes the substitute AP Calculus teacher, it turns the IHP class against him.

Dennis gets a job to pay back his classmates.

Alan campaigns for class president.
9First Date
Eric asks Simone out on a date but there is a difference in expectations. She wants him to meet her parents but there is unexpected company on their date.
10Partners
Maria'a dating a hunk and tries to downplay her intelligence so as not to make him feel inferior. Dennis then gets her to work on a project and when it's done he claims that he did all the work when in fact it was Maria who did all the work. And he's counting on her keeping her intelligence from her boyfriend from claiming she did the work. Mr. Moore tries to convince she has to stand up.
11Arvid's Sure Thing
Rhonda, probably the most popular girl in school, sets her sights on Arvid. He feels like the luckiest man alive. But Mr. Moore gets him to wonder why she's so popular.
12Scuttlebutt
A man who went to the school and would go on to be a revered corespondent. Whenhe meets the students he treats them very snidely. And when he makes a slip they make a big deal of it. Mr. Moore tries to teach them that the man has some first hand knowledge of certain things that not too many have experienced. And Moore can't help but wonder why the man has such a big chip on his shoulder.
13Little Shop 'Til You Drop: Part 1
Mr. Moore directs the school production of Little Shop of Horrors much to the dismay of Dr. Samuels until he's offered a role after one person drops out. And Maria may have to follow when her mom is set to wed on opening night.
14Little Shop 'Til You Drop: Part 2
With opening night coming, Alan finds himself without his singing voice and Arvid stepping in to play the lead. Meanwhile, Maria chooses to go on with the show.
15The Hot Seat
Charlie becomes friends with the new Phys Ed teacher.
16Radio Activity
Charlie tries to garner interest in the school radio station, but is met with some resistance.
17The Little Sister
Charlie's date turns out to be Dr. Samuels' sister.
18Killer Coach
Mr. Moore plays chess with Arvid, and when he gets distracted by people talking to him, Moore beats him. Dennis arranges a match between Moore and Frank Tarish, the coach of the chess team. Moore nixes it claiming that beating Arvid was a fluke but Tarish thinks he thinks he's better than him. It seems that Tarish was considered for the job that Moore has now. At chess practice, Tarish yells at Arvid which again distracts him causing him to lose and leave the team. Moore decides to show Tarish how good Arvid is by playing Tarish with Arvid telling him what moves to make.
20King of Remedial
When Mr. Moore gets fed up with to Dennis' disruptive behavior, he sends him to the remedial history class. Dennis feels like a fish out of water. But eventually he challenges the IHP to a history competition and along with the teacher he gets them to learn.
21Labor Daze
The Fillmore staff goes on strike which causes friction between Charlie and the IHP class. Meawhile, Dennis and Arvid take a Home Economics class to meet girls.
1Back to School
The school year begins with three members of the IHP no longer there. And three new students, Alex, Viki and Aristotle joining the class. And the old students don't exactly welcome them with open arms.
2Viki & Eric & Simone & Alex
Eric and Simone, both secretly wanting to see other people, lie to each other about their plans and eventually have to face the truth after they find themselves at the same art museum with their dates.
3The Ring of Darlene M.
Darlene's grandmother's ring goes missing and the class suspects Alex of taking it.
4Viki in Love
Viki thinks Mr. Moore is the one for her. And Alan thinks she's the one for him. And he freaks out when he finds who she thinks is the one for her.
5Blunden in Love
Dennis dates a girl who is hiding a secret about her personal life.
6The Bright Stuff: Part 1
Dennis and Arvid create an experiment that qualifies for a NASA competition in Houston but tensions soon arise between the two of them.
7The Bright Stuff: Part 2
While in Houston working with NASA on their contest-winning project, Dennis takes credit for a discovery Arvid makes.
8Gotta Dance
Samuels wants someone from the school to enter a dance competition. Alex and T.J. volunteer. But when Alex fails a test, Moore says he can't compete. But Samuels really wants to win this one, so he asks Moore to let him take a make up test. Moore at first refuses. So Arvid offers to fill in. But Moore reconsiders so Alex takes the test during the competition. And Arvid is nervous about having to dance.
9Good Mourning
Arvid and Sarah each suffering losses on the same day leads the class to some introspection.
10Arvid Nose Best
When Arvid is snoring so loudly, Mr. Moore thinks it could be taken care of by surgery. So he decides to have it but is also thinking of having a nose job but when is under the anesthetic, he is not sure if he wants to go through with it. When he wakes up his nose is bandaged and the doctor has left and doesn't know if he had his nose done. So he walks around with the bandage on even though he's told he can remove it.
11The Devil and Miss T.J.
T.J. is so desperate to be allowed to join the IHP that a guy offers to help her. But she later finds out the man is the Devil and he is going to collect.
12Why Ronnie Can't Read
Dr. Samuels asks the IHP to help a student athlete get ready for college entrance exams. But it's during one of the sessions that they discover that he's illiterate. They try to help him so that he could take the test. But Mr. Moore upon learning of if, tells them this is just a temporary fix. He tries to convince the student he needs to learn how to read which coming out and admitting it.
13The Joker Is Wild
When Dennis plays a joke on T.J. in front of the class, she challenges him to a fight. Mr. Moore then decides to mediate between Dennis who plays too many jokes and T.J. who takes everything too seriously.
14Tough Guys Don't Sew
As part of her home economics class Viki has to make a dress. And when she has trouble Eric offers to help and it turns out he's good but he doesn't want anyone to know he does this.
15Reel Problems
When Alex tries to land a girl by being deceitful. Mr. Moore tells him of the time Arvid trying to impress a girl claimed to be the head of school's "film society". And when the girl suggests a film that no one knows, they scramble to find it.
16Alan Goes Crimson
Alan gets a chance to go to Harvard and is acting like a jerk. But when the man who was arranging it dies before he could. But even after learning of this he continues to act like he is going.

Mr. Moore and the IHP decides to put on a production of Hair. But one of the teachers tries to stop it.

When the class are on a boat Simone goes overboard and Dennis saves her. And when she acts beholden to him, he can't help but milk it for all it's worth. But Moore figures out the truth about what happened?
22Queen, Queen, Queen for a Day
It's time for school prom and Arvid is among the ones who will choose who will be the prom queen, but he unwittingly tells Viki he'll support her. And he also inadvertently tells Rhonda the same thing. And Darlene threatens him if he doesn't. When it's time for the queen to be chosen, Arvid tries to keep his word and support the girls but Samuels says he can't do that. And when Samuels says they might no be able to choose one so Arvid suggests that the prom queen to be abolished. The girls are bummed that the prom queen was canceled and when they get together they talk and learn that Arvid promised each of them they would be queen. So they decide to get back at him.
23Politics of Love
Alan goes to a party. The next day he brags to the class that he hooked up with a model. They don't believe him. But she shows up to return something he left with her. But it seems he told her he's a teacher.
24The Reel Charlie Moore
Aristotle tries to help Charlie's stagnate acting career.
25Cement Hi-Tops
Aristotle gets job videotaping a wedding. Later an FBI agent approaches him asking to see the video he shot. Aristotle asks why he wants to see it, he doesn't answer him. So Aristotle is hesitant to do what the agent says. The class wonders why the agent wants to see the video and when Aristotle tells them the name of the people who got married which is Italian, they jump to the conclusion that the people who got married are mobbed up.

Eric and Charlie compete for a night-school teacher.

When Mr. Moore gets a job in a touring company, he leaves the school and the IHP gets a new teacher, Billy MacGregor. Dennis chooses not to welcome him. While Arvid thinks he's the man.

Maria hides her intellect in order to attract a popular schoolmate.

The IHP get lost driving back from an academic bowl and stop at a truck stop. After the students insult everything from a festival to the character and intelligence of the locals, Billy pits the two sides in game show-style competition.

Jasper's parents thinking of him as a child won't let him alone so they get a babysitter. And the person who shows up is Sarah. And he pretends that he has a sibling. And that's when they get close.

When Arvid "rescues" a chimp from a pet store, the IHP stages a mock court room hearing to aggressively plead with the store owner not to sell the chimp. The only problem is they confuse the store owner with an evaluator from the Board of Education.

Viki finds her birth-mother with Billy's help but her happiness doesn't last long.

It's prom time. Billy catches TJ cheating for her ex-boyfriend.

Simone tries to get the right caption for Eric in the yearbook. Billy is concerned that Eric would rather be forgotten when Dr. Samuels leaves out Eric's name on the trophy.

In order to save Dennis from punishment, Billy creates a fictional student that ends up winning a college scholarship.
19My Dinner with Darlene
Darlene invites the class to a fancy dinner. Her credit card gets declined. In reality, her family is falling apart.
20The Phantom of the Glee Club
Billy is put in charge of the school musical. Monica quits when Billy allows everybody to sing. An operatic voice comes out of the air duct. Billy proclaims it to be the Phantom of Fillmore High and later discovers that it's T.J.
21It Couldn't Last Forever: Part 1
Dr. Samuels is facing early retirement. Fillmore High is closing. The classmates have to deal with their impending departures. Billy plans to propose to Miss Meara. Sarah makes T.J. the valedictorian.
22It Couldn't Last Forever: Part 2
As graduation approaches, Eric proposes to Simone and a typo sends a demolition crew to the school. An angry T.J. plans to tank the valedictorian speech. Janice returns to join the graduating class.
