Dr. Andrew Brown is a world-famous neurosurgeon whose career always overshadowed his obligations as a parent, until the day that his loving wife died. Faced with the daunting task of raising his two kids, 9-year-old Delia and 15-year-old Ephram by himself, Andrew moves his family from New York to the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Everwood, Colorado, where he opens a free medical clinic. Delia adjusts quickly to her new surroundings, but the sudden shift in everything he has ever known is hardest on Ephram, who resents all the years his father lavished on his career at the expense of his family.
2The Great Doctor Brown
Andy and Ephram's fragile relationship is further strained when it appears that Andy is once again putting work before family. Meanwhile, as the town of Everwood celebrates its annual Fall Thaw Festival, Ephram's interest in Amy continues to blossom and Delia gets into trouble at school for questioning her teacher's antiquated rules.
3Friendly Fire
Andy's neighbor and friend Nina is ostracized by the townspeople when they discover she is a surrogate mother for a woman in her mid-50s. Andy's clumsy attempt to come to Nina's defense backfires, but she turns to him and Ephram for help when the baby makes an unexpectedly early arrival. Meanwhile, Ephram is dealt an emotional blow when Amy dis-invites him to a party in order to gain the approval of her friends, and Delia attempts to befriend the school bully, Magilla.
4The Kissing Bridge
Dr. Brown and Dr. Abbott must put their striking differences aside to educate the town of Everwood after several of their teen-aged patients are diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease. To make sensitive matters worse, Dr. Abbott has reason to suspect that his son Bright may have been intimate with one of the patients. Meanwhile, Ephram pushes his romantic feelings aside to comfort Amy, who is distraught over not being able to go to the Fall Dance with her boyfriend, as he is still comatose.
5Deer God
After a lost deer makes the Browns' backyard its new home, Andy insists on accompanying Ephram, who decides to help the animal find its way home to the wilderness. Meanwhile, Ephram finally admits to Amy that he never asked his father to consider operating on her boyfriend, Colin, who is in a coma; and Delia questions the existence of God.
6The Doctor Is In
Amy is heartbroken and Ephram is furious when Andy decides against performing a risky operation on Amy's comatose boyfriend. Meanwhile, Delia is forbidden from playing with her only friend, Magilla, after his parents discover them playing dress up; and a traveling psychologist, Dr. Trott, creates quite a stir in the Everwood community.
7We Hold These Truths
As Dr. Brown operates on Amy's comatose boyfriend Colin with the help of his friend and surgery partner from New York, Dr. Brian Holderman, Amy leans on Ephram for support as she awaits the outcome. Meanwhile, an emotional Bright breaks down and admits what actually happened the day of the car accident.
8Till Death Do Us Part
As his wedding anniversary draws near, Andy loses all hope and questions whether he will ever feel his life is worth living again. Meanwhile, Ephram and Amy share their first kiss while on a field trip; and Dr. Abbott has a panic attack when his wife Rose proposes they take salsa dancing lessons.
9Turf Wars
Andy's parenting skills are questioned when Ephram and Delia's grandparents pay them an unexpected visit to check up on their son-in-law. Meanwhile, Ephram sneaks out of the house to see Amy who is still emotionally recovering from the aftermath of Colin's surgery.
10Is There a Doctor in the House?
Delia and her grandmother throw a festive birthday party for a grumpy Edna who hates this particular day of the year, but everyone winds up snowed in for the night when a big storm hits town. In the midst of it all, Bright collapses from a burst appendix and Andy and Dr. Abbott have to improvise an operating room before the infection spreads; while Andy and Ephram let months of tension and hurt feelings explode in front of everyone with a threat of Ephram moving back to New York with his grandparents.
11A Thanksgiving Tale
In hopes of raising his little sister Delia's spirits, Ephram does his best to recreate his mother's Thanksgiving traditions as the Brown family spends their first holiday without her. Meanwhile, in order to save a patient's life, Dr. Brown must find the man's missing brother, who is believed to live in the woods; and curmudgeonly Dr. Abbott attempts to befriend the entire town when he has a health scare and questions whether anyone would attend his funeral.
12Vegetative State
A heartbroken Ephram finds himself the odd man out as Amy prepares for Colin's homecoming. Meanwhile, Andy and Dr. Abbott join the town in a debate over the use of medicinal marijuana after a large quantity is discovered in a deceased woman's greenhouse; and Andy provides medical guidance to Nina after her son's teacher suggests she put him on Ritalin.
13The Price of Fame
Much to resident thespian Dr. Abbott's chagrin, Andy begrudgingly auditions and is offered the lead in Everwood's production of "The King and I." As Dr. Brown struggles with his lines, Ephram struggles with his emotions when his intense feelings for Amy are complicated by Colin's desire to be his friend.
14Colin the Second
Although conflicted by his feelings for Amy, Ephram finds himself serving as confidante and friend to Amy's boyfriend, Colin, who continues to feel like a fish-out-of-water as he attempts to reclaim his life before the accident. Meanwhile, Andy hopes to convince Ephram to resume the piano lessons he abandoned after his mother's death; Nina's absentee husband comes home for a visit, which proves to be far from happily ever after; and in a bittersweet turn of events, Amy and Colin are nominated for Homecoming King and Queen.
15Snow Job
On a church ski trip chaperoned by perpetual party pooper Dr. Abbott, Amy and Colin share their first kiss since the surgery; Ephram finds himself intrigued by Colin's younger sister, Laynie, who has recently returned home from boarding school; and Bright attempts to get to the next base with his girlfriend. Meanwhile, Andy hesitantly agrees to attend a singles mixer with the recently divorced Reverend Keyes.
16My Funny Valentine
When traveling psychologist Dr. Gretchen Trott comes back into town, Andy is forced to confront his potentially romantic feelings for her. In other romantic entanglements, Edna and Irv have difficulty adjusting to life after his heart attack scare; Harold and his wife Rose have it out after they attend couples therapy and she suggests that he's lost that lovin' feeling; and Ephram asks Laynie out on their first date, in part to show Amy that he's moving on with his life.
17Everwood Confidential
When Dr. Abbott's dementia-plagued, elderly godfather confesses to a murder that took place 30 years ago and reveals that Abbott's father was his accomplice, Abbott and Dr. Brown join the investigation in an attempt to find out what really happened and clear the men's names. Meanwhile, Ephram can't seem to keep Amy far from his thoughts, causing major problems in his burgeoning relationship with Laynie; and Andy and Ephram's new piano teacher butt heads over what is best for Ephram.
18The Unveiling
Approaching the anniversary of his mother's death, Ephram confronts a repressed memory of his father cheating on his mother, causing an even bigger rift between father and son that eventually leads to a firestorm of emotions. Meanwhile, Amy grows concerned that Colin might not be recovering as well as everyone thinks when he gets violently ill on one of their dates.
19The Miracle of Everwood
Although Amy and Bright are still living in denial regarding the state of Colin's recovery, Ephram can't ignore the bad signs any longer after he witnesses Colin freaking out and vandalizing the gym teacher's office. Meanwhile, a New York Magazine reporter pays a visit to Dr. Brown in hopes of uncovering the truth behind why the famed surgeon is still living in Everwood; and Delia decides to secretly spend the night in the Museum of History while on a school field trip.

A nervous Ephram feels the pressure of performing his first piano recital in Everwood; Dr. Brown and Dr. Abbott attempt to diagnose a man with a mysterious sleeping disorder that leaves welts on his body; and Amy pretends to want to spend time with her grandmother, Edna, in order to secretly see Colin while she's grounded.

Meanwhile, Ephram is humiliated in front of the entire school when his date for the Spring Formal ditches him at the dance to make out with her boyfriend; and Amy and Colin have a huge fight when she chooses to console Ephram against Colin's wishes.
22Fear Itself
Resentful at being forced to accompany Andy and Irv to a remote lake cabin, Ephram takes a small boat out alone and his inexperience leads to a serious accident and a night of terror for Andy. Meanwhile, Colin and his parents must decide whether to allow Dr. Brown to perform a second dangerous surgery; and Nina confronts her husband Carl after she accidentally discovers he is having an affair.

As the day of Colin's surgery approaches and emotions run high, Andy takes Ephram and Delia on a road trip to his old medical school to consult with his mentor, Dr. Donald Douglas. Back in Everwood, Colin kidnaps Amy and Bright in the middle of the night to surprise them with a special day of memories and hopes for the future.
2Extra Ordinary
Andy is concerned that Ephram needs more extracurricular activities to get into a top college, but Ephram is only focused on his Juilliard audition, which has surprising results. Amy's lack of interest in college preparation alarms her mother more than her father. Bright's poor grades get him kicked off the football team, threatening the scholarship his father believes may be his only chance to get into a decent school. Meanwhile, Andy tries to help a cheerleader with ruptured breast implants, who cares more about looking good than her own health.
3My Brother's Keeper
The entire Abbot family is turned upside down by the return of Dr. Linda Abbott, who has been practicing Eastern-based medicine in exotic locations the world. Edna, who is blinded with pride, doesn't see her daughter's loneliness, and loses sight of her own life with Irv. But Linda encounters the most resistance from her brother Harold when she announces her decision to join his practice. Meanwhile, Andy learns that some 'tweens may be practicing unsafe sex, and is shocked at their parents reaction to the situation. Finally, Bright asks Ephram to keep an eye on Amy, whose odd behavior has everyone worried.
4East Meets West
Andy's well-intentioned plan to give Ephram more free time by hiring college student Madison Kellner as a caretaker for Delia ends up making things worse when Madison treats Ephram like a child as well, and embarrasses him in front of Amy. Meanwhile, Andy's concern for Colin's alcoholic father blinds him to Nina's struggles with her divorce proceedings. Dr. Abbot continues to clash with his sister, Linda, when she tries to take over his office and the difference in their personalities and medical philosophies become alarmingly clear.
5Daddy's Little Girl
When Andy invites Linda over for dinner to discuss a patient, Delia lashes out through foul language, but it is an enlightened Ephram who figures out the cause of his sister's bad behavior, thanks to insight provided by Madison. Amy's depression deepens, but when her therapist recommends medication, Dr. Abbott refuses to write a prescription to help his daughter cope with Colin's death.
6Blind Faith
Dr. Abbott suspects that Linda and Andy like each other more than they should, so he decides to set his sister up with more appropriate suitors. Meanwhile, Ephram finally has the courage to tell Amy how he really feels about their relationship, but he is confused by his feelings for Madison, who comes to the rescue when Ephram needs help to pass his driving test. Andy tries to help the soon-to-be-remarried Reverend Keyes cope with his impending blindness, but the minister would rather leave his fate to God than attempt a new treatment that might save his sight.
7Three Miners from Everwood
When a coal mine collapses, Dr. Brown, along with Edna, Linda, and Harold, rush to the scene to assist their neighbors. One miner is Will Cleveland, a jazz pianist who has recently become Ephram's mentor; another is Abbott's next door neighbor, whose outrageous building plans Harold has tried to thwart; and the third Andy's patient Ellie Beels, who has been trying to conceive a baby. All three doctors utilize their special skills under terrible conditions, but it is Andy who must confront his biggest fears in order to save lives.
8Burden of Truth
When Phil the mechanic correctly "diagnoses" meningitis rather than flu in Andy's young patient, the town begins to believe he is a seer. Ephram confronts Madison about his feelings for her. Amy agrees to see Linda for help, but out of desperation, steals her pad to forge a prescription for anti-depressants, forcing Harold to heed Phil's warning about his daughter's condition. Meanwhile, Edna learns the disturbing truth about why her daughter does not want to pursue a relationship with Dr. Brown.
9Just Like in the Movies
Dr. Brown courts Linda despite Edna's and Harold's insistence that he's wasting his time, but Andy persists, forcing Linda to tell him that she is H.I.V. positive. Bright tells Ephram he can win Madison's affections by ignoring her, but the plan goes awry when she breaks up with her boyfriend. Amy meets a flirtatious and attractive town bad-boy, Tommy Callahan, whose compassion for her problems touches her heart for the first time since Colin's death.
10Unhappy Holidays
Horrified to discover that Ephram and Madison are involved, Andy stops short of firing her, but Madison decides to quit, leaving the Browns to a very unhappy holiday, especially when Delia discovers another troubling relationship - between her father and Linda. Stressed by Thanksgiving with his cantankerous mother-in-law, Dr. Abbott reacts badly when Amy brings Tommy to Thanksgiving dinner. Finally pushed to the breaking point, Amy runs away from home.
11Family Dynamics
When Andy's relationship with Delia is threatened after he breaks his promise not to date Linda, he decides to take his daughter on a special bonding trip to regain her trust. Andy is also surprised by Ephram's emotional reaction to the relationship with Linda. The Abbott family is still in turmoil when Amy decides to live with Edna and Irv, rather than playing by her parents' rules.
12Controlling Interest
Dr. Brown tries to intervene when a bulimic high school champion wrestler puts his life in jeopardy for an important tournament. Bright is suspended from school after he fights with Amy's boyfriend Tommy. Linda suspects that that Andy is reluctant to move their relationship to a more intimate level because of her HIV status. Finally, Ephram is convinced that college student Madison is embarrassed to be seen with him.
13Forget Me Not
Caught up in her first fight with Tommy, Amy's reconciliation with her father goes awry when she forgets his birthday dinner. Madison lies to Ephram about liking a love song he wrote, which leads to a fight when she refuses to show the song to her band. Nina finally confronts Andy about neglecting their friendship to spend time with Linda.
14No Sure Thing
Ephram gets the wrong idea when Madison tells him her roommate is going to be out of town, but the misunderstanding leads to an intimate moment for the couple. In other matters of the heart, Amy decides she's ready to have sex with Tommy, so she works up the courage to ask Dr. Brown to write her a prescription for birth control pills, and Andy makes the important decision to talk to Ephram and Delia about Linda spending the night at their house.
15The L Word
Ephram is horrified and heartbroken after he impulsively tells Madison that he loves her and she doesn't reciprocate. Meanwhile, Linda naively agrees to watch Delia overnight so that Andy can accompany Ephram and his piano teacher, Will, to a jazz competition in Boulder, and Amy breaks up with Tommy after realizing she might not be able to trust him again.
16Unspoken Truths
When Ephram gets a fake I.D. so that he can get into a bar to see Madison's band, he ends up in a bar fight and Andy has to bail him out of jail. Meanwhile, Nina leans on Andy for emotional support after she is served with divorce papers, but the genuine affection between the two raises a red flag for Linda. Finally, Tommy takes Amy to a party where she finds closure over the loss of Colin, but the evening takes a life-threatening turn.
17Unfinished Business
Amy moves back home, but finds adjusting to her old life difficult, especially after her parents discover she's taking birth control pills and her former friends give her the major cold shoulder. Elsewhere in Everwood, Ephram thinks Madison is going to break up with him and Andy testifies on behalf of Nina as she and her recently out-of-the-closet ex-husband battle for sole custody of their son.
18Last Looks
Against Andy's better judgment, ex-sweethearts Ephram and Madison decide it would be in Delia's best interest if Madison resumed her job as Delia's babysitter. Meanwhile, Amy contemplates going off her anti-depressant medication after Linda suggests she might be ready and Bright anxiously awaits his college acceptance letters.
19Sick
Amy confides to Bright that she may have developed feelings for Ephram, but Bright begs her to have mercy on poor Ephram, who is still nursing a broken heart from his recent break-up with Madison. Meanwhile, when Linda's HIV status is accidentally revealed to her patients, Dr. Abbott faces a potential malpractice suit, and Andy is forced to come clean with Ephram, who doesn't take the news very well.
20Do or Die
Ephram and Amy decide to go to prom together as friends, but Amy can't get up the nerve to tell Ephram that she has feelings for him after they run into Madison and Amy realizes that he's still nursing a broken heart. Meanwhile, Linda decides it may be time to leave Everwood behind, and Andy's mentor, Dr. Donald Douglas, asks him to perform risky brain surgery on a patient who turns out to be Dr. Douglas himself.
21Your Future Awaits
When Amy accompanies Ephram to his Julliard audition in Boulder, a romantic moment leads her to confess her newfound feelings for him. Meanwhile, Andy struggles to convince his mentor Dr. Douglas that he needs even riskier brain surgery than originally thought and that Andy is the man to do it; Dr. Abbott faces losing his medical practice after it appears no company will insure him; and Bright decides not to attend his graduation ceremony, much to the disappointment of his family.
22The Day Is Done
Ephram is on cloud nine after being accepted into Julliard's summer program, but his emotions are sent into a tailspin when Amy shares her feelings for him and asks that he stay in Everwood for the summer. Meanwhile, Dr. Abbott's family thinks he's gone off the deep end when he decides to open a bagel shop in response to losing his malpractice insurance, and Andy learns a shocking revelation about his family.
1For Every Action...
Ephram and Amy are reunited after a long summer spent apart while Ephram attended Julliard's summer program in New York... but Amy's euphoria is quickly replaced with paranoia after she notices Ephram acting distant. Meanwhile, Andy is plagued by guilt over whether he made the right decision concerning Madison's pregnancy; and Dr. Abbott befriends the town's newest citizen, Jake Hartman, who turns out to be a doctor from California looking to open a new practice in Everwood.
2...There Is a Reaction
At her father's suggestion, a heartbroken Amy is determined to make the most of her senior year in the wake of Ephram returning from New York and telling her that piano has to be his number one priority. Andy contemplates telling Ephram about Madison's pregnancy. Meanwhile, Rose naively agrees to help Bright find his true calling after she discovers that he hasn't enrolled for college classes and is in fact leading a life of total leisure; Dr. Jake Hartman creates a marketing blitz for his new practice that threatens to push Dr. Abbott over the edge; and Nina takes in her friend's teenage daughter, Hannah, and asks Ephram to take her under his wing.
3Staking Claim
Ephram regrets promising Nina that he would watch over Hannah at school, especially when her constant presence interferes with his time alone with Amy. Amy befriends Hannah out of a sense of charity, but soon finds Hannah so refreshing that a real friendship develops. Meanwhile, Andy tries to ignore the tension between Dr. Abbott and Edna, but his attitude forces Edna to quit and go to work for Dr. Hartman. Andy treats a 13-year-old patient whose mysterious injuries cause Andy to suspect the boy's mother of abuse.
4The Birds and the Batteries
Andy finds himself at a loss over what to do when Delia naively stumbles upon Nina's vibrator and starts asking questions. Meanwhile, Ephram attempts to write Amy a love letter to show her the extent of his feelings; Amy makes it her mission to make new best friend Hannah popular; and Harold and Rose question Bright's euphoria over being selected "employee of the month" and decide it's time for some parental intervention.
5Sacrifice
Andy puts his foot in his mouth by picking a fight with Everwood's patron saint, Amanda Hayes, who, unknownst to Andy, has been caring for her profoundly disabled husband for the past five years. Meanwhile, Jake surprises Nina by asking her out on a date; Ephram and Bright realize their friendship may have grown too far apart to salvage; and neurotic-as-ever Dr. Abbott struggles to come up with a medical invention after learning that Dr. Brown and Dr. Hartman have successful inventions of their own.
7Best Laid Plans
When Jake surreptitiously informs Andy that Ephram came to him for a STD test, Andy and Harold decide the best plan of action is to convince Ephram and Amy to hold off on sex. Of course, when Ephram realizes it's no coincidence that he and Amy both had a heart-to-heart with their fathers on the same day and informs her of his suspicions, Amy feels betrayed that Ephram didn't tell her about the test beforehand.
1A Kiss to Build a Dream On
At the end of last season, Andy left Nina speechless by finally declaring his love for her, and Ephram decided to make a clean break from his troubles in Everwood by moving to Europe. In the season premiere, Nina will choose between the two men she loves - Andy and Jake. At Delia's behest, Ephram makes an emotional return to Everwood just in time for an unexpected wedding; Bright and Hannah are reunited after their first kiss and a summer spent apart; and Amy and Rose find that Rose's cancer has driven them apart rather than brought them together.
2The Next Step
Andy learns that Ephram has no intention of moving back home, while Bright invites Ephram to move in with him and Reid. Meanwhile, Hannah begins to worry about the long term possibilities for her relationship with Bright after he shares his "three dates and out" policy; Harold suspects Andy is up to something after he frequently goes missing from the office; Nina and Jake have the grand opening for their new restaurant; and Ephram and Amy finally confront the unspoken fate of their relationship.
3Put on a Happy Face
As if adjusting to college life and the news that her secret crush, Reid , is gay weren't enough to handle, Amy learns that Ephram is going to be a regular fixture in her life now that he's moved in with Bright and Reid. Meanwhile, Andy, Nina and Jake attempt to move on with life after Nina decides which man she loves. Bright and Ephram take Hannah to a college party.
4Pieces of Me
Ephram begins giving piano lessons to a 14-year-old piano prodigy, Kyle, but Ephram soon realizes that the music awakens difficult memories from last year. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown advises a brain tumor patient and his wife; Harold and Rose await the latest cancer test results while dealing with the stress of a mayoral reelection; and Delia informs her father she wants a Bat Mitzvah.
5Connect Four
On a camping trip with Andy and Harold, Ephram reveals the true reason he returned to Everwood and Bright contemplates a sex-free relationship with Hannah after she tells him that she doesn't believe in pre-marital sex. Meanwhile, Amy grows even more emotionally confused when Reid asks her to go with him to a Halloween fundraiser, Jake and Edna's working relationship is put to the test when Edna questions his work ethic and Ephram learns more about his mysterious piano student, Kyle.
6Free Fall
In hopes of mending Andy and Jake's friendship, Nina suggests the two men go to counseling together. Meanwhile, Andy breaks the news to Ephram that Amy may be seeing someone new; Harold helps Rose find new direction after losing the mayoral reelection campaign; and Ephram realizes that Kyle's life may be more complicated than he originally thought.
7Pro Choice
Hannah's mother pays an unexpected visit to Everwood to tell Hannah that her father has passed away. Elsewhere in Everwood, Ephram stifles his feelings for Amy while forced to watch her relationship with Reid grow more serious; Andy advises a patient who desperately needs a kidney transplant, but refuses to accept one from his daughter; and Bright is at a loss at how best to help Hannah through this difficult time.
8So Long, Farewell...
Changes are happening as Hannah gets ready to leave for Minnesota with her mother and Bright and Amy are having deal with the loss of their best friend, and Bright's girlfriend. Amy also has to deal with the lack of contact from Reid as he follows through on his promise to end his relationship with Amy. The adult males go through a dangerous time as they take on risky adventures. It starts with Jake and his friend Cliff going out on a bike trip that turns dangerous. Then Andy and Harold decide to go seize the day and go skydiving.
9Getting to Know You
A very-much-in-love Ephram discovers that he has become a "girlfriend" to Amy, but the friendship is threatened when a moment of intimacy leads to them waking up together the next morning. Meanwhile, Nina grows suspicious of Jake's recent strange behavior, which is furthered when his brother shows up unexpectedly; Andy is worried when Delia takes up with the popular girls in school; Bright tackles Hannah's low self-esteem issues; and Rose drops some startling news on Harold.
10Ghosts
With a week having past since they slept together, Ephram and Amy must figure out what this new development means for their future, and Nina and Jake face the biggest obstacle of their relationship yet. Meanwhile, Irv's brutally honest description of Andy in his debut novel causes Andy to take a long look in the mirror, and Ephram realizes that he and Kyle may have even more in common than he originally thought.
11Lost and Found
Amy's new college professor encourages her to get involved with Planned Parenthood. When Amy tries to get Hannah to volunteer as well, it leads to a serious rift between the friends. Harold and Rose consider adopting a child from Africa. While Irv is on his book tour, Edna winds up in the hospital and Andy comes to the rescue. Ephram's sadness over his relationship with Amy and his sudden lack of direction in life is made worse by the news that his piano teacher, Will Cleveland, has died.
12You're a Good Man, Andy Brown
Although Jake is back from rehab and going to 12-step meetings every night, Nina realizes she has no idea how to deal with his recovery. Andy cancels his first Internet date to give Nina emotional support. Amy tries to impress Professor Fields by using her father, which results in Dr. Abbott lying to his daughter about his past. Ephram encourages Kyle to meet with his long-absent father, opening old wounds for Ephram regarding his own son. When Delia asks Andy to listen to the rough draft of her Bat Mitzvah speech, he is deeply touched by her memories and her message.
14Across the Lines
Andy and Jake witness a car crash and save the life of the intoxicated driver, then disagree over whether they should report him to the police. Ephram convinces Reid to talk to a counselor about his academic problems, but the session does more harm than good. Amy and Hannah try to spend some quality time together, but they continue to disagree about friends, relationships and politics. Meanwhile, Harold is shocked to find Rose smoking medicinal pot with a man from her cancer survivor group.
15The Land of Confusion
Ephram plans to transfer to Colorado A&M, but Andy counsels him not to choose a school just to be near Amy. Knowing that Ephram regrets his lost opportunity at Julliard, Andy sets up a meeting for him with a concert pianist and it helps Ephram decide what he wants to do. With things starting to feel back on track, Nina tells Andy she's proposing to Jake. Finally, Bright is unable to admit to Hannah that the absence of sex in their relationship is hard for him. After they quarrel, Bright runs in to Ada and makes a terrible mistake.
16Truth
Ephram learns that Bright cheated on Hannah and is outraged. When Ephram confides in Amy, she also confronts Bright and convinces him that he must tell Hannah the truth. Harold asks Andy to protect his lie on the adoption application regarding Rose's cancer. Irv takes Edna along on his book tour appearance in San Diego, and they spend time with Irv's daughter Cassie. Reid's desperate actions lead to terrible news from his medical school advisors.
17All the Lonely People
Devastated by his expulsion, Reid tries to commit suicide. Ephram rescues him, but can't forgive himself for missing the signs of Reid's depression. Andy and Nina are caught in a compromising situation when Nina admits she may still have feelings for Andy. Trying to win Rose's forgiveness, Harold buys her a necklace, but Bright takes the necklace to give it to Hannah as an apology for his affair.
18Enjoy the Ride
Just out of the hospital, Reid asks Amy out on a date. Amy talks a reluctant Hannah on a double date with Amy's friend Nick, leaving Bright to deal with his pain and jealousy. Delia panics when her Bat Mitzvah falls on the same day as the birthday party of the most popular girl at school. Nina tries to deal with her confusing emotions over Andy and realizes she will have to make a decision when Jake asks her to move to Los Angeles.
19Reckoning
Andy, Ephram and Delia are all shocked by a visit from Andy's estranged father, whom they haven't seen for 15 years. Ephram and Amy take Bright out to celebrate his 21st birthday, but Bright drinks too much, falls through a window and ends up in the hospital. Hannah rushes from her date with Nick to be at Bright's side. Nina decides to move to Los Angeles with Jake, which devastates Andy. Irv and Edna decide to buy an RV and spend their retirement traveling the country.
20Goodbye, Love
The whole town gathers for Irv's funeral. After the funeral, Amy begins to rethink her relationship with Ephram. Ephram decides he should tell Nina that Andy has bought an engagement ring for her before she makes the final decision to leave Everwood with Jake. Finally, when Andy's father announces that his visit is over, he and Andy have an honest and long-overdue conversation about their feelings for one another.
21Foreverwood: Part 1
While packing up her house and preparing to leave Everwood with Jake, Nina tells Hannah that she knows Andy bought an engagement ring for her. Hannah convinces Nina to sneak into the house while the Browns are out to get a look at the ring. Later, Jake finds out about the ring and confronts Andy once again about his feelings for Nina. At Delia's Bat Mitzvah, Amy watches Ephram with his new girlfriend Stephanie and realizes her feelings for Ephram are still strong. And when one of Harold's patients leaves her baby on the Abbott's doorstep, Harold wrestles with the right course of action while Rose immediately becomes attached to the little girl.
22Foreverwood: Part 2
After their house has been sold, Nina and Sam temporarily move in with the Browns. Wanting to take care of an unresolved issue in his life before he can propose to Nina, Andy takes a mysterious trip. Bright learns that Hannah has received a scholarship to Notre Dame and is devastated at the thought that she may accept it. Edna upsets Harold and Rose when she reveals her plans to leave Everwood. Delia is thrilled with Andy's belated Bat Mitzvah gift. Finally, when Amy tells Stephanie that she plans to tell Ephram about her feelings for him, Stephanie steps up her game to compete for Ephram's affections.
