Zacharius Knight "Zach" Galifianakis (born October 1, 1969) is an American comedian and actor, known for numerous film and television appearances including his own Comedy Central Presents special. He is well known for his unconventional stand-up style, that features the reading of one-liners while playing a piano during his performances. He garnered mainstream attention with his breakout role in the hugely successful The Hangover.
"Zach Galifianakis: Live at the Purple Onion" is a stand-up show by American stand-up comedian Zach Galifianakis. The show was recorded at the San Francisco club The Purple Onion in June 2005. The DVD features Galifianakis' routine as well as an interview of Seth Galifianakis (played by Zach) by Brian Unger. It was released March 6th, 2007.
