Erik was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He studied International Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for 2 years. After those 2 years he transferred to Milwaukee Area Technical College majoring Television and Video Production. Erik was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He studied International Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for 2 years. After those 2 years he transferred to Milwaukee Area Technical College majoring Television and Video Production. During the course of the semesters he was the Head Writer of a television showed called "Letters to Santa", which aired for 5 days during the Christmas holiday. While in school he also worked at the PBS and NBC locations in Milwaukee doing various production positions from cameraman to floor director and etc.After graduation he went out to Los Angeles to pursue film. He ended up getting an internship at Furthur Films, which is Michael Douglas's production company. There he read and wrote coverage on all incoming scripts over the course of about a year and a half. Erik has also worked as a production assistant for the Sci-Fi channel ("The Fallen Ones") and Court TV ("29 Minutes and Counting") original programming in 2004. In summer of 2005 he started Avalon Digital Media with his partner, which does visual effects and motion graphics for film, television, music videos and commercials. In January 2008 he was hired by Mancuso Martin Entertainment to Develop Television and Internet Programming as well as finding new and upcoming talent.Between the summer of 2005 and January 2008 Erik was working on side jobs to help finance his company. He eventually landed a position at Viral Vector Media, LLC as VP of Corporate Marketing, which used Viral Marketing to market productions and projects throughout the world.In March of 2008 he wrote and produced, along with 4 partners, "Scene By Scene", A Final Draft Tutorial. As of recent, he did the current version of the Independent feature script, "Fragile". He has written 2 original television series, a 1hr drama & a sitcom, 1 Spec for "30 Rock" along with 5 feature films. Currently, he is working as a freelance screenwriter, actively seeking representation as a writer/actor and is working on writing his next feature.
