Tony considers accepting a job in the private sector in Ohio. Jeannie and Roger then use a magical stereopticon device to see how Tony's life would be if he accepted. It appears that Tony would have been very happy in his luxurious office with two gorgeous secretaries. However, both Jeannie and Roger think that secretly he would be miserable because he would no longer be an astronaut. Jeannie then shows Tony a very different future where his office is located in a sub-basement with two very ugly and cranky secretaries, and that his life would be a disaster. However, it backfires when he thinks that his taking the job would help the company get on its feet. Jeannie then takes very drastic measures to ensure that Tony doesn't accept the position.

Tony reads in a book that when a genie marries her master they instantly lose their powers and become mortal, prompting Tony to propose. Jeannie then calls for Haji to show her and Roger what her life would be like after they marry and they see that Tony has been promoted to colonel. However, a little later Roger asks Haji to show Jeannie what would happen if she and Tony were to have children. They then see that they have a son and a daughter and while the son, Tony Jr., is normal, but their daughter, Jeannie Jr. winds up inheriting her mother's powers. She might also use them at a very inopportune time; when the Dr. and Mrs. Bellows drop by for a surprise visit. Will Jeannie go through with the marriage or will they live out the future as foretold?

Not wanting Tony to miss his vacation, Jeannie helps him by getting four non-musicians, including a couple of guys named Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, and turning them into musicians. In fact, Jeannie is so successful in turning them into a group that they wind up getting an audition with Phil Spector.

While Tony is giving a tour at NASA, Jeannie interrupts him to show him how she plans on redecorating the house. Tony then orders Jeannie to leave but before she can blink out she is accidentally struck on the head by Doctor Bellows. As a result she loses her memory and is brought to the hospital where she is hounded by a shyster lawyer. Also, she has x-rays taken of her head and when they turn up blank it makes Bellows suspicious. Tony and Roger then try to help her regain her memory by trying to convince her that she is a genie and in the process she turns Bellows into a mouse. Unfortunately, he is mistaken for a mouse that is to be put on a rocket heading for Mars. Now it is a race against time as they try to not only get Jeannie's memory back, but turn Bellows back to normal before he heads for the red planet.

16Genie, Genie, Who's Got the Genie?: Part 1
Tony is about to go on his first extended vacation in years. Just before he leaves, Jeannie arrives at the base to inform him that she has taken care of all of his luggage by shrinking it. While they are talking, Tony hears someone enter the room and has Jeannie blink herself into a safe that is to go to the moon for future expeditionary missions and he closes it. The good news is that it is Roger, but the bad news is that when Tony closed the safe he accidentally locked Jeannie in. They decide to try to break into the safe, but before they do they find out that it is wired with explosives and that opening it without the proper combination will set it off. They then decide to enlist the aid of a couple of safe-crackers to try to open the safe before it is sent to the moon.
17Genie, Genie, Who's Got the Genie?: Part 2
Tony thinks that Jeannie, while still locked in the safe, has been shot into space. However, Roger informs him that he managed to take it just before it was to be loaded on the rocket. Unfortunately, the Professor and his stooge Charlie, the two safe-crackers from the previous episode, steal the safe and are planning to open it when they have second thoughts when they remember that it is wired with explosives. They then call Dr. Bellows and inform him that they have it. Thinking that it is a hoax, Bellows tells them not to call again. The two safe-crackers then take it to a pawn broker, who then sells it to a scrap dealer. When Tony and Roger find out what happened, they run to the scrap yard before the safe, with Jeannie in it, is crushed to the size of a cigar box.
18Genie, Genie, Who's Got the Genie?: Part 3
Tony manages to save Jeannie from the scrapyard, but still hasn't gotten her out of the safe. Unfortunately, a new problem arises when Jeannie's wicked sister finds out that she is locked in the safe, she sees this as another opportunity to steal Tony. She plants the idea in Tony's head to go Baghdad find Haji so that he can release her. While in Bagdad, Tony is taken prisoner by Jeannie2. Roger is then informed by the real Jeannie of what happened and he goes to Baghdad to find him. Unfortunately, he is also captured. However, that is least of their problems as Jeannie2's giant of a master finds them and threatens to kill them for trying to infiltrate his harem.

A month has passed by and Jeannie is still locked in the safe. However, that is the least of Tony's worries. Jeannie informs him that he is no longer her master due to the fact that she has been locked up for so long. Also, Dr. Bellows informs him that it is feared that the explosive device has been activated and that Dr. Wedemeyer, the safe's inventor, has been called in from Washington to try to deactivate it and open it. Tony then comes up with an elaborate scheme to try to keep Wedemeyer from opening the safe and becoming Jeannie's new master.

Jeannie II arrives to seemingly give her sister a birthday present in the form of a couple of flasks of lotions. In the white flask is a lotion that Jeannie is to put on Tony to make her love him more and a blue flask contains a lotion that Jeannie is to spread on Tony's enemies to make her hate them. However, unknown to Jeannie is the fact that her wicked sister switched the flasks and now the white one contains the hate lotion and the blue one contains the love lotion and when Jeannie spreads the love lotion on Tony she tortures him mercilessly. Also, Roger puts the lotion in the blue bottle on and Jeannie falls head over heels for him. Tony eventually finds out what happens and tries to snap Jeannie out of it before she winds up marrying Roger and before Jeannie II makes Tony her special little pet.

Its Roger's birthday and Jeannie decides to grant him what he's always wanted, a wish. Unfortunately, instead of wishing for something extravagant like a new car or lots of money, he mistakenly blurts out that he wishes that he could change places with Tony, who will be going into space the next day. Now Jeannie and Tony must try to find Roger before he takes Tony's place on the mission.

Tony's morning paper doesn't arrive and when Jeannie asks Roger for the date he gives her the wrong one and she accidentally blinks the next day's paper. Tony and Jeannie are then shocked to read that an astronaut will break his leg, but the report doesn't say which one. They then head off to find Roger thinking that it might be him. However, they get an even bigger shock when they find out that Roger has taken the sports section and is using it to make a killing at the track.

However, it turns out that this is just another scheme by Jeannie II to finally get Tony into her clutches.

Tony picks up a hitchhiking hippie named Suzy who is on the lam from her authoritarian father, who not only happens to be Tony's new commanding officer, General Winfield Schaffer, but who is also Tony's new neighbor. However, the worst is yet to come as Suzy blackmails Tony into letting her spaced out boyfriend Harold, who Schaffer doesn't approve of, hide out at his house or else she will spill the beans about Jeannie.

Because of a security leak at NASA, Tony is shipped by Doctor Bellows to an unknown location to finish work on the Apollo 12 capsule modifications. However, he is shipped out before he can inform Jeannie and Roger. He is then replaced by a double who only knows the basics and when he arrives at Tony's he gets to experience first hand what life is like with a genie. However, things really become nuts when the double thinks that Jeannie is Tony's girlfriend and winds up proposing to her.
14The Case of My Vanishing Master: Part 2
Roger accidentally finds out that Tony has been replaced by a double and races to Tony's house to prevent the double from not only marrying Jeannie, but to prevent Doctor Bellows from finding out about her. They are successful on both fronts, but still have no clue as to where the real Tony is. However, it is revealed that the impostor Tony is also a double agent working for a foreign power sent to steal the project the real Tony was working for. Things really get complicated when the real Tony returns home.

Reporter Charlie Farnum tries every trick in the book to get a scoop on Tony's personal life and even goes as far as hiding cameras and tape recorders in various locations in Tony's house. However, Tony and Jeannie catch Farnum just as he is about leave the house and ruin all evidence of Jeannie's existence. However, Farnum stoops to blackmail by getting his wife and two sons to pose as the wife and children Tony abandoned years ago. So convincing is Mrs. Farnum's performance that Jeannie files for divorce. Can Tony stop Farnum from completing his scheme without getting kicked out of the space program and losing Jeannie?

Jeannie and Tony go shopping for her wedding ring before they take their mandatory blood tests. Complicating things is the fact that besides the usual red and white corpuscles, genies also have green corpuscles. Because of this, they ask Roger if they can use his blood. However, Roger got a series of inoculations and now Doctor Bellows thinks that Jeannie is a walking germ factory and now forces her to undergo a full physical, including having her eyes dilated and as a result she can't blink. Unfortunately, prior to having her eyes dilated, Jeannie blinked the entire jewelry store into Tony's office to catch a pickpocket who lifted Tony's wallet and worse yet it is during a security drill where no one can enter or exit the base. The things people go through so they can get married.

Jeannie repeatedly blinks Tony down from an experimental aircraft on its way to Puerto Rico.
Everything goes wrong when Jeannie accidently blinks Tony and the aircraft to Havana, Cuba instead.An experimental aircraft has been refitted with a computer that has been programmed to fly itself to Puerto Rico and back. Tony has the 'honor' of babysitting the T-38 jet in case something goes wrong. He's in the jet and tells the tower he's ready for take off. Jeannie is sitting on Tony's desk. She blinks Tony down from the experimental aircraft. Before she blinks him back to the plane, Tony must help her decide on hors d'oeuvre.To reassure Tony, Jeannie fixes the plane (with a blink) so it is guaranteed that nothing will go wrong while he is helping her with wedding rehearsal preparations. She doesn't mention she programmed the plane to fly to Havana, which she thinks is in Puerto Rico. But, it all turns out okay.Except for the Air Force jet "parked" on the street in front of Tony's house!

Tony's visiting cousin cooks up a get-rich-scheme and convinces Jeannie to use Tony's face and name to sell cans of chili. Suddenly Tony's in trouble for endorsing a commercial product without NASA'a permission.NASA PARKING LOT: A stranger (Gabriel Dell playing Cousin Arvel) fleeces Roger for a gaudy ring. Then Jeannie comes along and he notices her name tag says Jeannie Nelson. Arvel says; Say, are you any relation to Major Anthony Nelson? Jeannie says; Oh, no. No, he is my husband.NELSON HOME: Cousin Arvel pulls the old con job on Cousin Jeannie, claiming his shrewd business partners will only let family in on the deal and then only for a thousand dollars. Of course it won't always be a thousand. Someday, when Cousin Tony is older and unable to walk on the moon, why then he'll have the greatest gift of all: financial security.NASA PARKING LOT: Roger and Tony see someone in the gold cadillac that Cousin Arvel pretended was his for Major Healey so they grab the man, who turns out to be the General.NELSON HOME: Cousin Arvel cooks up a batch of chili and Jeannie tells him he did not need to cook dinner. Cousin Arvel says; I cooked these to show you where your financial security is. Jeannie says; Cousin Arvel I want Anthony's financial security to be a complete surprise Cousin Arvel says; Little lady you just took the words right out of my mouth. When Tony gets home and hears Arvel's voice he mutters; Lock up your silver. Cousin Arvel puts a spoonful of chili in Tony's mouth. Jeannie says; Is it not delicious? Tony says; Delicious.Next day, Cousin Arvel shows Jeannie a crude drawing of Cousin Tony in a spacesuit with the phrase Cousin Tony's Texas Chili. He asks what do you think of it. Of course, Jeannie is always smitten with anything with Tony's image on it.Cousin Arvel claims Cousin Tony endorsed his chili when all Tony said was; Delicious. Cousin Jeannie blinks up many cases of the chili Cousin Arvel made and puts on each a label with an image of Cousin Tony in a spacesuit with the phrase Cousin Tony's Texas Chili.GROCERY STORE: Food City is Jeannie's last stop. She blinks a dozen cans onto the shelf and disappears. Mrs. Bellows is looking for chili and the clerk shows her their newest product: Cousin Tony's Texas Chili.NELSON HOME: Cousin Arvel finds out Jeannie didn't charge anything for the cans of chili. She doesn't tell Arvel that all she wanted was for Tony's picture to be in every supermarket.TONY'S OFFICE: Dr. & Mrs. Bellows show Tony the can. He says it must be a joke.NASA CAFETERIA: Tony and Roger take three cases from the cafeteria to home.NELSON HOME: Jeannie's last case & list of places. Tony and Roger embark on a mission to get it all back, to retrieve all the cans from all the places on Jeannie's list.GENERAL'S OFFICE: Amanda would be happy to get Tony kicked off the space program just because somebody put his face and name on a can. It's her revenge for Alfred not being able to endorse aspirin. When Tony gets dragged in and shown the can and again says it must be somebody's idea of a joke. The General growls; A can may be a joke but a case is a court martial! Jeannie is aghast.RESOLUTION: The cardboard carton from cafeteria that supposedly contains a case of cans with Tony's endorsement is the only case against Tony. He whispers to Jeannie that its the endorsement thats going to get him court martialed. Get rid of the cans. But, Master, your face. Now! When the carton is upended on the General's desk, out comes all the dry ingredients--whole onions, beans, dried chili peppers, etc.NELSON HOME: Jeannie serves chili since they have so much of it.
